Sir, I have just read the article "Regulation: Economic slowdown has put brake on global reforms" (June 18) and I am not surprised that the new banking regulations are being blamed for the continuing bank deleveraging and slowdown in credit growth. Moreover, I believe there are additional considerations that need to be addressed as a consequence of the banking reforms.
